Actions:
to promote contacts and exchange of experience, to
provide training for specialists of NP;
to coordinate the efforts of it's members in solving
common problems;
to elaborate joint principles for the development of NP,
to analyze their situation in the Baltic region;
to exchange of information between the members, with
other conservation organizations;
to organize of the Baltic
Information Centre for Protected Areas (joint project with the Union of Protected
Areas of Estonia).
Structure:
Council - representatives of all members
Secretariate - maintain contacts with the members,
collect, process and distribute information
The Council convenes meetings once a year.
